Franklin New Hampshire aerial town portrait

Visual History Study / Proof of Concept

Franklin, New Hampshire

A proof-of-concept preservation study focused on Franklin’s mill-city identity, river corridor, civic architecture, steeples, and industrial geometry.

Project Context

Industrial Memory From Above

Franklin works well as a visual-history proof of concept because the town reads strongly from the air: river movement, brick mill blocks, civic structures, church forms, neighborhoods, and the visible footprint of industrial New Hampshire.

This page positions Franklin as a study model for how the Monadnock Aerial History Project can document towns with layered architectural and industrial stories.
